Hello. I am a very new Definity System (G3si)administrator learning as I go. I have been unable to figure out how to make an audio/visual ringer/flasher work when a digital telephone is called in a high noise environment. It seems that all of these devices are of the analog type. Any ideas? Thanks.

One way to get it done is by putting an analog extension in a answer group along with your digital phone. That way when your digital phone rings it also rings your bells and lights. Wisdom is Knowledge

Yeah, welcome from this seat as well.

If you connect such a device to an analogue port you can also change the call appearance from that extension into a bridged appearance of the digital extension.

But a coverage answer group can also do the trick.

Beware that there's a difference between these two options when a second call comes in.
In the coverage answer solution the second call will also activate the device and with the bridged appearance solution it won't.

This depends on your company's preference. Plan your work............Work your plan
