OK... can anyone give me the quick and dirty way of adding a new TMDI card as a PRI so that I can configure in ld17 a new DCH for this card?

Hi,

if this is an M1 Option 11/11C, the first thing you have to do is to define your PRI-loop. This is done in overlay 17:

REQ CHG
TYPE CEQU
.
.
PRI2 X (where X is the same as the slot where the PRI-card is located)
Then just hit your enter-button until you get u-data/p-data.

You can no configure your D-channel, during the programming you will be asked for this prompt. You also use overlay 17 for the programming of the D-channel.

REQ CHG
TYPE ADAN
ADAN NEW DCH X (X is the number of the D-channel)
.
.
DCHL X (X is the number of the PRI-loop)

Hope this info can be to some help.

Just wanted to thank you both for the quick responses. the link from wbaith was basically exactly what I needed for my option 11c.

Thanx

You're right, that link is great. I wonder if they have one for Nortel also.

If you not is the US then use PRI2, if in US use DLOP to add the tmdi.
