Hey ...

I am installing a new VB application on a machine that has Win95 4.00.950B. I am doing this via a setup package.

When I run the setup process, a bunch of DLLs are being displayed as getting updated. Then I get a message requesting me to reboot the machine for the change to take effect.

The problem is this - once I reboot the machine, the application is nowhere to be found (ideally it should appear in the Programs Menu under 'Start').

If I run the setup again, I get the same message to reboot the machine.

Where am I going wrong ? Since it is requesting me to reboot the machine, does it mean the registry is never getting updated ?

Any suggestions will be appreciated ...

Thanks,

If the program does not automatically appear in the start menu, then just find it on your hard drive (using Explorer) and see if it will start/run. If it does, just make a shortcut to it in the start menu, by going through start > settings > taskbar > add...follow the prompts. Cheers,
