Installing a ms optical usb mouse in Win2k

Cannot install an MS USB OPTICAL mouse in Win2K! It works fine in Win98 though!

Hello busterk -

Had the exact same issue on one of our machines. I had to go into the BIOS, and select "Enable USB Mouse" - after that, worked like a charm.

It should install as a human interface device but should still work fine.If not then try a Logitech,it will work.
