Hello, I have a MICS 0x32 with DR 7.1. It currently has a services card in slot 1 and a DTI card in slot 4. I am wanting to add a 2 port fiber expansion card to connect a 16 port station mod. Is this going to be as simple as powering down the KSU, sliding the card in slot 2 and connecting the station mod via fiber? I don't think I will have to do any programming (other than for the new stations) or lose programming but wanted to ask the pro's. Thanks!

You cannot add a 2 port along with a service card or any other card, you will need to remove the service card and replace with a 6 port combo card.

You need XC software to use both exp ports, if not then install a 6 port combo card only.

I would replace the service card wit h a 6 port combo card.
Take a back up and be sure you have your PRI enabler code written down somewhere just in case.
