I mean like n Veritas Backupexec remote Agent!

Please could explain 'exactly' what ARCserve option or agent you are referring to - this is an ARCserve forum, not a Veritas one.

Ok guys I know this is not a Veritas forum!

my ? is
How to i push out a Remote agent for a windows server in Arcserver

is just connect to a machine thru IP adress And use the remote Agent ,,because then i try to connect where is a option then u right click on the machine that ask u if u want to uuse a remote agent ,and how to type in the license key for the remote agent (windows)

THanks

I give up.

We have asked you twice EXACTLY what you mean by remote agent, yet you still reply with 'remote agent'. There are potentially 20 different agents which can be used remotely -which one are you referring to EXACTLY ?

Also what version of the software are you inquiring about?

HI,

I'm assuming you are referring to the Client agent for Windows, used to backup a remote system state for instance. once you pop-in the CD and run the setup, you would be prompted to choose 1 of 3 options..

a.Local
b.Remote
c.Response File.

select option b.Remote.

Now you would have to point to the remote machine and push the install..

once this is done, you can license the Client agent on the server running the Base product..

Open any manager... go to Help\about\Licence..

Highlight on Client agent for Windows..
key in the licence code
click on the Add button..

you should be good to go ..

So it Shall be Written!
So it Shall be Done!!
