install new PC console

Hello guys i want to replace a hardware console with a new PC console. we already have two pc console installed on the cs1k pbx, do i remove the hardware console from the config before adding the additional pc console? how do i add the new pc console to the pbx?

The configuration for the PC Console is the same as the 2250 console. I don't believe you need the power tn's for the PC console. You may want to consult the NTP

ok this is the problem that i am having now, I installed the PC console software and connected the physical console but i can cant get it to communicate with the PBX. The front panel of the PC console unit displays a constant orange light. the back has red lights on the right of the unit numbered.

Look on page 207 of that document I linked you to. It gives you the power up sequence and what you should see.
