install JDK1.3 compiler

I want to begin learn Java in Linux platform
But I don't know how to install JDK1.3 compiler on Linux (I use Redhat 6.2). Would you give me info about sites or links that 's related with that topic ?

Sun packages all distributions in rpm format or GNUZIP tar for Redhat Linux. Go here:

http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.3.1_02/index.html

It is recommended that you install 1.4. Go here:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html

There are step by step installation instructions too.
