Hi Experts,

I need to download and install DirectX Media 8.1 or greater run-time for a Windows2000. However, I can only use a PC with Windows98 to link to Microsoft.com and hence Microsoft only allowed my to download and install the DivectX for Windows98.

Any suggestions?

I am not trying to be cute about this answer.
Upgrade the machine to Windows 2000.

And Microsoft Download is not trying to be cute either. It just would not work under Win98.
