Hi All,

For example, Table A and B are identical except Table A has an extra column. 'Insert Into A Select * From B' will work. But not for all the cases. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance!

It never hurts (and often fixes) to have a column list for the insert.

Implicit declaration can cause all sorts of issues..

so
turn
insert into X select * from Y
to
Insert into X (C2,c3,c4,c5...) select c5,c2,c1,c4... from Y
