Is there any way to change the password character that MSAccess uses (*) to
something different?

I want to use the lower case (L) from Wingdings (because it would look just
like the Windows XP password

Any Advice would be appreciated.

I like to apply this to a text box

MSAccess 2003 (2000 Database)
Windows XP

Thanks

Go to the design view of the table, select the field where the password will be entered, under Input Mask for that field double click the the right of that box (where the ellipsis will appear) and select PASSWORD as the Input Mask. To the right of this selection has a "How it will appear" and will show the *****. Select this and change it to whatever you want. Now save the table design. It's very late and I'm very tired, but I think this will address your problem.

I'm sorry but I don't see a "How it will appear". Anyone care to take a stab at this one. You would think that this could be done considering that there is a way to do it with an inputbox. But I need it for a textbox on a form.

I don't see how "design view of the table" helps us hide a password in a text field.
