OK, I'm pretty new in MS Access and I'm doing this project for an organization, which runs on volunteers, of which I’m one. I have this database with organizations who give disoriented people a daily thing to do what ever one feels, to a limit, like to do.
The input is performed by a number of these people themselves so it has to be veeeeerrry user-friendly; more than foolproof, meaning no toolbar or any other Windows/Access facility.
I made this InputForm, which turn up some problems for me.
For starters the masks. They work fine but when clicked on by the mouse the cursor is set where the mouse was. I’m looking for a way to get the cursor at the beginning, no matter where the mouse click was. I know that scrolling through the form with e.g. keyboard-tab will do the trick but that’s not what I’m looking for.
Is this problem to be solved the way I want it?
As an alternative I found, in thread 702-244946 of April 4, by Jazzz.
However my questions are then:
Do I create this for every datefield? I have 3 datefields. Can I separate with “;”?
Where do I put this script exactly in the properties?
Do I put this as general in the InputForm?
