Initialize a guest mailbox on CallPilot?

I have set up a guest mailbox on my callpilot, but I can't figure out how to initialize it. It's a mailbox we're setting up specifically for the use of a remote user who doesn't have a phone in the office, so it would need outside access too. Any ideas?

Just call it from any phone and do the INI just like you would your own phone.

1. Call the Vmail DN
2. Enter the Vmail box number
3. enter 84
4. Enter old password
5. Enter new password
6. Enter new password again.

Thank you for your help, but what is the "voicemail DN"?
Do you mean call Feat-981? That only gets me to the voicemail of the phone I'm calling from...

If your using F981, your in the wrong Forum. You want the Norstar Forum number 799.


F981 gets you to the Vmail and you enter the vmail box you want to INI and then the password which is 0000 and it will tell you to cahnge it.

in the cpilot setting you must check box enable initialize remotely

remotely you push * * (star star) and enter the mailbox and password 0000
