We just moved from a Novell backbone to W2K Active Directory. We did a back up of the Novell server and restored to W2K. When we assign rights to a folder they do not flow down unless you go to the subfoders and files and uncheck inheritable permissions and recheck them and apply. Then you get the permissions from the upper folder. There are to many files to do this to. Is there a way to make this force down?
