Infrastructure Master move in AD

I was just wondering if anyone can give me information on moving the infrastructure master.

The server I am moving it from is a global catalog server and other server is a global catalog server as well. One is a 2000 box and the other is a 2003 box.

I got he message " The infrastructure operations master role should not be moved to a global catalog server".

Any help would be great. Thanks

That's correct. It shouldn't be moved to a server functioning as a global catalog. If you put it there, the infrastructure master will not do its work. Look at the following article for details:

BTW, you probably don't need two GC's in the same LAN, so you could turn one of them off if you have two, and run the infrastructure master on that one.
