Information store service will not start

Brand new installation of Exchange 2003 running on Windows Server 2003. It seems the information store and Exchange MTA services will not start.



When I check event viewer logs this is the error messages that I see.

When I try to start the services manually they error out saying the service did not start in a timely matter.

Did you follow the procedure in KB828764 for manually starting the services ?

Look at your nearest DC. Is it a GC as well? Look at other DCs. Are they GCs too?
