Our Information Store crashed this past week. We were able to go a back up; however we have lossed some emails. I setup an offline Exchange 5.5 box to see if we could repair the damaged Information Store in order to recover the missing items. I am following MS Article 219419 step by step. Both the pub.edb and priv.edb came back inconsistant so I continued on and performed a eseutil /p /ispriv. This tool is in the middle of repairing our 35GB Store; however it has frozen on the repairing process at 82% for almost 24 hours (See below). Does this tool typically take this long for a repair and should I wait...or is there another approach I can take. I can see the drives working and there are no processes hung and eseutil is active so I know it's doing something...but what?
