Hmm the saying goes if it seems to be too good to be true........

I am not sure what the license states about selling an OEM License without a system I didn't think you could do it but I could be wrong. If your worried give FAST a phone and discuss the issue with them.

I get offers all the time for XP for $80 price range. Yes OEM is supposed to be sold with a system or at least a piece of hardware. Don't know, XP is XP, i say grab it.

Hmm, for home use OK grab it but for a business buy one a see if its legit.

IF (not saying they are but IF) they're not legit and you get audited and you say here are my 100 OEM licensed XP you'll be told not valid with that hardware buy 100 more (or if you're unlucky 100 + fines). And remember if your in the UK YOU can be held personally responsible for software piracy as it is a criminal offence now and not just a civil one.

So even at $80 that $8000 then on top of that the full price.

Iain

I have seen copies of XP selling with a piece of hardware. For example, buy a memory stick, get XP for $80 or whatever.

I think microsoft intended that XP be sold with a SYSTEM, but a loophole in that thinking is that it could be sold with a piece of HARDWARE (i.e. memory, new HDD, new mouse even?)

Just my $0.02

They seem to be something to do with They sell vs.net for £179 and sql 2000 for £145, seem very reasonably priced.
They don't appear to have any contact details, this might be relevant:-

They were apparently at a computer fair in Crawley.

The box picture on the site clearly says 'to be sold with a new pc', although I can't see any details of the new pc you get. I'm sure it's all above board.
