Indicator light on 5410 digital sets 1

Customer has a IPO 500(5) and they have the 5410 digital sets. They want a indicator(sitting on their desk) that lets someone know they are on the phone. I looked at the Plantronics online indicator lights but they need a headset for them to work. Is there another product out there that I'm missing? Thank you.

Isn't the sight of them speaking on the phone indication enough that they are on the phone, or are they hidden from view behing partitions etc? I guess you have already considered phone manager/One-x or does the indication need to be at the site of the user not the caller

There are some partitions but mostly individual office settings. They want a visual indicator on their desk or on top of their partition so when someone walks up they can tell their on the phone. Crazy I know.

If they usually use their handsets, I'd mount a surface alarm contact to the area beside the cradle and put a small magnet on the handset. Wire the contact to run a light. I can't think of any internal IPO method to do this.
