I have a large database in which our company stores employee pictures. Our server gave me an error message saying that memory was full. After deleting and moving some files I chose to repaired (tools, db utilities, repair) the database thinking that it may compile it a little. Mistake.... Now I cannot even open the db file. I get the following error.

<Index name> isn't an index in this table. Look in the Indexes collection of the TableDef object to determine the valid index names. (Error 3015)

I also started a new database & tried to import these tables but I get the same error message.

Help! I have some very unhappy staff. agh..

Thanks, WZ

You can try the JetComp utility which fixes access db's. It's available from the Microsoft Download center.

Joe: I downloaded the JetComp. However, I received the following error in the middle of compacting:

"Error Compacting Database"

Any more suggestions? Thanks!!! wz

Joe: I guess I will need to contact my corporate office for the backup of the server. Thanks for the suggestion - it really sounded like it was going to work.

Muttley: tried all items on your list, nothing worked. Thanks.
