We do Fulls on Sunday, incrementals M-Sat. Say the full fails on Sunday. when Monday comes around, how is this resolved? What files will be backed up?

I think that situation is the same as you are going from the scratch and try to do incremental backup.
As NW does not have a full backup in the index database, it will perform full backup regardless how it has been scheduled.

Yes and no. This would only apply if there is no full at all. However, if the retention policy has not passed yet, NW will find the last full.

BTW, an incremental includes all file which changed since the last scheduled backup not since the last full backup.

So in this case, all files that changed since the saturday backup will be included.
