we use CO trunk cards for our analog lines and assign them to local extensions using an analog card.

Is there a way to increase the modem speed when connecting outside the PBX? it seems that there is a large difference when connecting using a line outside the PBX compared to using a line that passes through the pbx.

I've checked the trunk settings but there seems to be no difference. Is there a limitation on the PBX (28.8kbps)?

Thanks! =)

What analog station card do you have?? I know you need a newer release of card to be able to use higher speeds... I think you need the TN21xx series instead of the TN7xx series of card. I could be totally wrong though.. As for CO pack, I'm guessing you're just using the TN747B. That portion I can't answer either..

Hi Buckweet, we are using the TN2793 Analog line card already and the CO card TN747. Any idea where can i increase the baud rate settings for dial out?

Thanks a bunch!
