Hello again everyone,

At work we have a Norstar PBX. (BNR Mics 2.0 Working Issue 4.05). Pretty soon we will be upgrading to the KSU 7.1 w/ NVRAM and Flashtalk 2.0.

Right now we have extensions from 221 - 244, but we will need more extensions soon. What would we need to purchase for our current system to increase the number of extensions that we can have?

You will need a Fiber Expansion card, a 0x16 fiber station expansion module and a Norstar tech to install it ;-)

What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

Actually, your system will support up to 32 extensions without expansion. Right now it sounds like you're only using up to 25. (23 sets, and up to 2 for the flash.)

If you need more than 7 additional sets, though, CTCINY is right.

Yup your right Rik. I guess thats why I'm a telephone tech and not a math teacher even though 1st grade math is probably easier than it looks.

If you have a question about how many actual stations are connected to the system go to maintenance>>module status>>KSU(1): and you will see how many sets are actually connected to your system. If you still have only 23 on the KSU then you can go to Maintenance>>Port/dn status and show each port in turn looking for "unequipped", these are the stations that have no set connected to them.
