Hello All,

I am trying to figure out how to increase the overall disk allocation for our database in our CMS R3V11. We have plenty of disk space but little database space. I know that Informix uses space in 256MB chunks, but I can't find any documentation to explain the steps in changing it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

CMS Supervisor - CMS System Setup - Free Space Allocation

CMS Help File said:
The Free Space Allocation window is used to view the current storage statistics and disk usage for the call center data collected through Avaya CMS. This window also allows administrators to modify the ACD dbspaces so that more chunks can be added or dropped to accomodate the amount of data being stored.

Storage on the server is managed by Informix Dynamic Server. This feature allows information to be stored in chunks where each chunk is equivalent to 256 megabytes. Each call center entity, such as splits/skills, trunk groups, VDNs and so forth, is given an amount of data storage space on the server through the Data Storage Allocation window. Any time that the Data Storage Allocation configuration is modified, the Free Space Allocation window must be used to ensure that the appropriate number of "chunks" are allocated for use within the affected ACD dbspace.

Does anyone have any specific information on how this is done? I have plenty of available space in CMS, but I can't figure out how to increase the dbspace to allow for more changes in the acd. Any additional information would be very helpful...

Thanks,
