We have a call tracking application called HEAT, which loads some HEAT-specific formula shells into Crystal (preceeded by HFW). My reports are displaying EAAw for Duration. The formula I have entered is: HFWDurDateHelpDesk ({CallLog.RecvdDate},{Asgnmnt.DateResolv}).

I simply want to print out the number of days from RecvdDate to DateResolv.

Did you try:
DateDiff ("d", {CallLog.RecvdDate}, },{Asgnmnt.DateResolv}) ?

Thank you, Patricia!!! That worked only when I converted the HEAT application date, which is a string, to a 'normal' date field using our HEAT formula: HFWDateToDate.

Prior to that, I got the error: A number, currenty amount, boolean, date, time, date-time, or string is expected here.

The 'dates' in our application are TEXT fields, which causes some problems. We must use the "HFW" (Heat For Windows) commands in working with our dates in Crystal.

You have been SO HELPFUL!
