Incorrect command line Parameters....

I am trying to install an enterprise search engine on my server that will allow me to search about 10 computers for word files etc..

I recieve teh following error,

Incorrect Command line Parameters.

Windows Installer V 2.00.2600.1183
Copyright Microsoft corporation. all rights reserved

Portions of this software are based in part on the

This is the only message I get. I am wondering if i need to download something else before i try to install this software or what I can do to get past this error.

Any help or direction is much appreciated. Thanks.

Call the software company help desk and ask them what you should do.

Got it. Install newer version of windows installer (3.1). Works fine now.
