Have a customer with a CICS rev.7.0. Caller ID shows correctly (514)555-1212. Caller log shows 555-1212(514). This prevents re-dial from caller log. Can't figure out why it does this.
This was never addressed by Nortel to my knowledge.
You can press "Trim" to remove leading digits but in this case use this quick fix:
Assuming 9 is Pool/Dest code and/or sets Prime Line = None or Intercom you would dial 9 plus area code then dial....
While looking at the number 555-1212(514) just dial 9514 the press "Dial"
Assuming sets Prime Line = Line XXX or Pool X you would dial area code then dial....
While looking at the number 555-1212(514) just dial 514 the press "Dial"
Curlycord's suggestion should work as the carrier will ignore the trailing 514. I have SIP trunks on my BCM50, so while looking at the caller ID on the call log I have to dial the destination code, then I either press the intercom button or pick up the handset.
