Hello all,
Here’s the scenario…
I have a customer with a CS1000 and a fax server (don’t know which one yet). Certain customers of theirs can’t get a fax to complete successfully. This happens with all the faxes coming from these particular senders, so it’s believed to be a problem on the senders end. My customer has asked if he can use a MultiTech MultiVoIP MVP130 set up as an endpoint to direct these customer faxes to with a DID. I guess my question is, is the MVP130 compatible with the CS1000. I realize I’m not giving half of the information required to properly troubleshoot this, but unfortunately it’s all the info I have right now. I’m in the process of getting more particulars (type of lines, T1 PRI or analogue, type of fax server etc.). Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated. I'll endeavor to get any questions you may ask me answered with as much detail and as quickly as possible.
Thanks,
