Hi,

Can someone help:

Customer has 2 hunt groups (A and B) with same agents. This two hunt groups has different public DDI numbers (two different services).
For this two Hunt groups customer has 4 ISDN BRI lines (8 channels).
Their wish is to have maximum 6 calls per hunt group, so they would have still 2 channels free for second hunt group.
Customer has Auto attendant configured in VoicemailPRO for hunt group A and B.

When call comes caller first hear Auto attendant and than it can choose to talk to agent or listen some announcements.

How to configure IPO for incoming calls for Hunt group A in case if there is 7-th call to this group, so the caller would hear just busy tone without any announcements.

System info:
IPO 406v2 4.2.11
VM PRO 4.2.24

In the hunt group, under the Queing tab there is a hunt group limit option. Set that to 6. After the 6th call, the 7th call will go to voicemail for that huntgroup, if there is not voicemail for that huntgroup the caller will hear a busy signal.

I know for this queue limit and it is done like this, but this will limit just queue for hunt group.
When call comes in system, caller first her auto attendant and then caller can select to talk with agent or listening announcements (press 1 for agent, 2 for announcement a, 3 for announcement b,..). When caller presses 1 call is transferred to Hunt group.
Problem with this queue limit is because 7th call comes in it still hears auto attendant and if it select 1 only then is disconnected. 7th caller should get busy tone and not announcement from auto attendant.
Any idea how to do this?

create a sequential HG with a virtual user (also create voip extension) forwarded to short code (forward all & HG calls)which points to the aa.

Set queuing on this group. Set your ICR to this group first.

E.g. Group 500 Sequential, User 501 is only member.

User 501 forward to S/C *500 - VMCollect AAName

I don't think that will work as they will never queue on that group, they will all just pass through to the attendant then to the target group and queue there!

I think you could be right amriddle.

Okay, how about DDI to a HG - Enable Courtesy queue to come on after 2 seconds. In the queued Start Point have your AA, but have a test variable POS$ if position in queue is greater than 6 then disconnect, otherwise play message.

that should work.
