We are having an issue receiving calls on our PRI trunk. We are able to receive all calls to our 2000 series numbers but any outside calls to our 1000 series numbers are getting a fast busy. When monitoring the dch it is coming up with the message cause #21 call rejected. The telco is sending 4 digits and all our settings on LDN etc. are to receive four digits. Is it possible the 1000 series numbers are somehow programmed for a different number of digits? Or if anyone else has any ideas of what could be possibly causing we would really appreciate the help.

The question I have is if the PRI circuit is meant to be receiving any DID 1xxx numbers?.

I would set up a D Channel monitor and see if you can see any incoming calls.

You might have to use an IDC table.

Yes it is meant to and it has worked before, this started after we were cut over to a new circuit. Have monitored calls already the 1000s are being rejected by the switch (Nortel 81c)

Did any of the programming change in the CS1K? Can you call the 1xxx internally?

No programming has changed, and 1xxx all work internally and are able to call out on the same PRI.

I would just make sure they are truly sending you 4 digits.
