In Need of Faster Processor

I may not be able to do anything but shell out the money for the update, but I have a computer with an AMD K-6(3D) processor with 349 MHZ and 192 MB of RAM. I just recently downloaded the game HALO COMBAT EVOLVED and I have cleared so much space off of my C drive, it's ridiculous to get this game. Well, now I've finally downloaded it and it's telling me my processor is too slow. If anyone has any tips for me, I'd really appreciate it. If not, then I know what I'll have to do. Thanks

The min req for the game is:
PC with 733 MHz equivalent or higher processor
128 MB of system RAM
1.2 GB available hard disk space

however, experience with M$oft products, you probably need to triple the specs to get the game to run reasonably well & don't forget a 3D graphics card is also required.

It may be easier to get an Xbox.

Do what you already know you have to do. XP itself will be better off for it, you are only just over the minimum requirements for XP and very basic functionality, never mind any games.
