In my Outlook Today Mailbox
I can click Contacts folder and see all my contacts.

From my Inbox I click New > To: > then look for "Contacts folder" from the drop-down-list-box labeled "Show names from the:"

The only contacts I see are under the GAL
or under Outlook Address Book and looks like:

Global Address List
All Address lists
All Contacrs
All Groups
etc

Outlook Address Book
Contacts

I used to use a personal address book in 98 but converted to a contact list in 2k.

Where do I go to use my contacts for addressing?

Very sorry for not adding a proper subject line, you would think I'd learn!!

This may not be exaclty right for 2K (I'm looking at 2002 at the moment) but should be close.

Right click on you contacts icon (or folder), select Properties, Outlook Address Book tab, check 'Show this folder as an e-mail address book'.

Thanks SMAH that's exactly what I need...I knew it was hidden somewhere!
