IMS Client Install Errors and Low Volume on Messages

I was wondering whether any experts might have some advice for a customer that has approx. 45 users using IMS. Of these users, 6 of them are getting errors that indicate that IMS is not properly installed. However, when they open Outlook, under TOOLS, IMS, the option is to 'disconnect'. They are also getting an email whenever they receive a new message and their message waiting light is also turning off as soon as they listen to their message via the computer. However, the message is not deleting off the phone if it is deleted off the computer and vice versa. They also cannot play the messages through their phones. The system calls their phone, but the message never begins playing. The clients are all running Win XP with windows firewall turned off. Regardless, we still ran the avayafw.bat file at each workstation. None of these users are operating in cache mode.

One other problem affecting them system-wide is that the volume of the wav files when played through their computers is so low, it's very difficult to hear, even with the volume controls adjusted as high as they can go.

I would welcome any suggestions for either issue. Thank you!
