installed a new harddrive on server...Windows 2000 Server. New hard drive is Primary...old is secondary. New installation of W2K Server. Can I import users from old operating system(also W2K Server)? Tried using LDIFDE.EXE...but for some reason...nothing got exported.

Importing Users???

Hi there
What os are you trying to import users from?.
Is this in a domain or on a single server/workstation.
What number of users are we talking about? What permissions do they need?
if you are pretty confident you could easily set up a small vbs sccript to do this for you. Not much help I know, but you havent given me much to go on.
If yo have a list of the users, system is not Active DIrectory, this will be simple. If you are just talking about a handful of users, I suggest setting them up manually.
