I really miss that keyword search feature. I hope Tek-Tips has it up and running soon.
Anyways, I hope this is a simple question for someone out there. When I import a text file into Excel using the Wizard, Excel will display all my .txt files and all my .prn files in the open file dialog. However when I import a text file into Access, the .prn files are not displayed and are not recognized as text files by Access.
I understand that .prn isn't a normal text file extension, but what I really want to know is where these settings are stored on my PC? What causes Excel to recognize the .prn extension, but not Access?
Thanks for your help Maq![[americanflag] [americanflag] [americanflag]](/data/assets/smilies/americanflag.gif)
