importing outlook express files to outlook 1

I have a lot of outlook express files (dbx) files from an old computer. How do I import these into Outlook 2000 on a new pc. I have the files saved on the hard drive but when I try to import, it tries to import files from Outlook express on my new pc which I have not used.

Import or open in Outlook Express and the File Export Mesages. This will export to Outlook or Exchange.
