I have just taken over as webmaster for an already established site. I need to import the entire site into my Front Page 2k. After what seems to be a successful import, I find that all pages except the ones that are not linked from other pages (seasonal stuff only linked at convention time) are downloaded. Also there are common links at the bottom of each page, about half of the pages did not import these common links, they were just chopped off. Also some of the icons in the web list have the front page arrow on top of them and I don't know what that means.
Thanks

Did you open up the download size and the levels of import?

If you kept the default download limit then FP stops after it reaches it. Same thing for level selection, once that is reached FP stops. » » » » » »

Yes I did. I unchecked both boxes

I don't use IMPORT IF (big if) I have access to the site I want to copy i.e. I access it in Front Page and then PUBLISH it, all pages-all sub-webs, to a sub-web on my Personal Web Server. Import seems to be alright for simple files but if different folders have the same file e.g. default.htm, Front Page was "thinking" it already had the page and renamed the new one. This was before SP2, I haven't tried it after.
