I have read some articles in the internet that runtime files 97 cannot be properly installed if Access 2000 is already installed on the PC.

Do you know if this is the case? Have you made similar or different experiences?

Thanks. Stefan

I have heard of many people having problems trying to go 'back down the ladder', and it's not surprising if you think about what you're trying to get the dumb thing to do.

The only approach that I know works is to uninstall Access 2k then install A97 and then re-install A2k on top of that.

Thanks LittleSmudge for your comment.

- Did you make bad experiences like the above problem.
- Are there less problems to install A2K or Access XP runtime?
- Would you still recommend to distribute Runtime 97 Applications?
