Hi,

I am #importing a COM DLL written in VB in my VC++ ATL Component. However, I can't seem to get very far. When I try to call a method on the VB DLL, I get a COM error (E_POINTER). Sorry if I am vague, but my knowledge of this is also vague! Any ideas?

Matt.

When you instantiate the object are you checking that it's worked? E_POINTER errors can be caused by calling methods on a non-instantiated object.

Aha - thats it exactly. Its was under my nose all along, and I was delving into the tli files and wondering if they were somehow incompatible - and it was the wrong uuid!

Thanks
