Hello,
This seems to be an anomaly (at least for me) :-(

I don't understand why the worksheet is pulling data from the .mdb data source when it is refreshed with data that does not exist in the Access query that it's importing from.

I thought I fixed it last week but it's doing it again this week and I've tried everything I know.

Redoing everything from scracth.

Any ideas?? HELP PLEASE!

Ok, let's try it this way.

I have an Access query that provides certain amount of data.
Then I have an Excel spreadsheet and there's a function where you can Import Data and access an ODBC driver. In this case .mdb

The Access file is named PO.mdb and the Import Data is pulling from a query named ProductionRptSummary.

In the spreadsheet it pulls all the necessary information from the ProductionRptSummary query, then in this Excel "template" has other columns where there are formulas to calculate what needs to be ordered for stock.

Anyway, it should always refresh current inventory items and in the Access query are criteria to limit the type of data for the spreadsheet to work off of.

BUT for some unknown reason, the spreadsheet is pulling about half a dozen records that shouldn't. 1 - based on the criteria it shouldn't be there. 2 - the query doesn't even show these few records.

Why? and how can I get around it?

Hope that explains it better??
