Impact Analysis in BO

Hi all,

I am using BusinessObjects 6.5.
I have a Universe adressing a given datamart.
In my datamart, certain columns of given tables are deleted or modified.
I want to know if I have a way to know what universes, objects or reports are impacted.

Is this possible?

Maybe if you do refresh structure in DESIgner, there is a chance of knowing all these things

In fact, the Designer just refreshes the structure and thus applies the changes.
I want to have a report that lists all the universes, objects and BusinessObjects reports really impacted by the changing.
I have found that Quality Manager solves the problem.

Quality Manager has the functionality that you are talking about. You could get some of the information using Auditor or by using a univers (like Managero) against your repository.

The hardest part of this is finding out what objects are used in which reports.

One needs to use SDK to get the list of objects used in which reports....
