i have installed the dll file on my server for the disclaimer usage, i followed the registry changes from microsoft and went into connectors to enable using the file, but when i restart the IMC service all mail gets bounced from the server, nothing gets through, i guess cause of the routing table gets lost, but then that is why i made the registry changes to allow to keep the routing table. is there anything extra that has to be done to keep the routing table when the dll?

thanx

Is it cos its imsext.dll not imcext.dll?

Have you followed the FAQ?

my mistake, i meant to put imsext.dll instead of imc. i went throught the faq and checked everything. i am curious if the imsext.dll only works with backoffice and not a regular install of server and exchange like i have? do i have to add something else in to the registry other than what microsoft tell me to do so as not to lose the routing table? i created the 'extension' folder in the registry, but do i have to put soemthing in there for the routing for my domain to be accepted?

thanx

OK, thought I'd check the obvious first.

If you've followed the FAQ exactly, I won't go over that stuff again. It works fine under ordinary Exchange.

The possible trouble is the disclaimer you are using hasn't been entered correctly. Did you do separate text file or did you type the disclaimer text into the registry?

well, i have not put the disclaimer in yet, i am trying to fix the issue of routing tables where as soon as i tell the connector to use the dll and restart the IMC service, all email gets bounced back to sender that relaying is prohibited. i was thinking that i may have to add a registry entry to allow for email to route in for my domain name, but dunno how to do that.
