Images offset

I have a problem with aligning the hyperlink images on my web page. I am using styles.css and the image margins are set to 0 for top and left in the style sheet.
When I use my local host to run the application everything is fine, but when I publish it there is an offset of about 4 pixels from top and left on all the images.
Can somebody please help.

in both cases you're using the same browser?

when you publish the site, you also include the css file? and if you do, is the path to it correct? (you should try to use relative paths for files in your site so it won't matter the actual hdd location of it)
