Images in a datalist with data from sql server200 1

I have a question. I want to build a ecommerce site that has the product id ,description, and price stored in a sqlserver2000 db. I don't want to store the images in the db, so how can I link the images to the particular item. The image files are named as the id of the particular item.


However I don't have a great enough understanding of how to use the datagrid/datalist to put these images in there with the description and price that pulls right off the database.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Or if someone knows a better way to do this it would be greatly appreciated.
