hi

i'm trying to write a counter, wich have to generate a gif image, containing of digits 0..9;

first of all:
post here an url if you know where could i find a working script, please (may be not gifs, but png or whatever..)

what i've found for now:

gif's structure & LZW-compression:

i've managed to write a script wich generates the image, but with 8x8 px digits only..

if someone is interested, i can post it here (it's not so very short becouse of digits matrixes..)

to see if there's a library you can use? Also, if you just need a graphical hit counter, you can try searching for a program called
