Ok, im trying to get imagecfg working for a game I have. Thief 3 deadly shadows. It has issues with dual core and processors with hyperthreading. So im trying to disable ht without doing it through bios like I have in the past. The affinity setting with processes does not work for me as once the game loads, I can not get out of it without closing it completely. Alt tab or ctrl alt delete does not work lol.
So ive been trying to use the imagecfg to make it only use one core. Ive tried numerous commands with it and everytime I get can not load image. I have a picture attached. Also I have pasted below all the commands ive tried. I did research some on it and learned it does not like filenames with spaces in it. Either way I have the commands I tried before and after I learned that.
imagecfg -a 0x1 c:\path\to\file.exe
imagecfg -a 0x1 C:\Program Files\Thief - Deadly Shadows\System\t3.exe
imagecfg -u C:\Program Files\Thief - Deadly Shadows\System\t3.exe
imagecfg -a 0x1 c:\path\to\file.exe
