Hi al, I hope someone can help me out.

I want to make a layout in photoshop, and place links on the right spot. Here is what i mean:
(1st page)
Here you can click the blue spots... How can i get something like this in dreamweaver?

Some other question, can i import a image with a transparent background ?? (i didn't succeed because jpg and gif merge everything to one layer )

I hope someone can help me out, i would be very happy :-)

In answer your first question. When you select an image in dreamweaver, which you have put in the page already, the properties floating menu will have 3 little shapes in the lower left side. These are for making hotspots in the image. This will create the effect you are looking for.

Second, if you are using fireworks to create your images you can easily choose a transparent color when you are exporting or even choosing alpha or indexed transparencies.

Great!!!! It works :) which the hotspots!

Many thanks for the clear and fast reply

I'll get fireworks tomorrow, because i only had adobe photoshop en paint shop pro.

Tnx again!

Im sure there is a way to do transparencies with Adobe Photoshop. I would try and find a way to do it with that because it is a very highly advanced graphic editing program. I just assumed fireworks because many times fireworks comes packed with Dreamweaver =).
