Hi ... I'm trying to turn a color Illustrator logo (I'm on a MAC) into a file that a Word user (for PC) can import. Perhaps the person has an older version of Word? He can't seem to import an EPS or TIFF file. His message to me is below (I can't make sense of it!) Any suggestions on what sort of format he needs is appreciated. Thanks!

"Please make the logo as three separate Word based letterhead so I can take the file and write content right after the Logo

I think that he wants you to put the logo into a Word template file, with the logo in the header. So all he has to do is use File...New, select the template, then start typing content.

Word has been able to import EPS and TIFF for a long time (at least since Word 95). And the file format is the same for Mac and PC. Just make sure to save the template file with a .dot extension and tell him to put it in the location specified by the Tools...Options...File Locations menu item for Templates. Most likely, this will be C:\Documents and Settings\His Windows log-in name\Application data\Microsoft\Templates

Only time rgb vs cymk would matter would be you'd want cymk if the file was going to a four-color printshop where separations are made (such as in large scale press shops). Otherwise both will look just about the same on a monitor. RGB being slightly better (but not better enough to care about).
