Similarly to the way I can add a hyperlink to an image, I'd like to use an image in place of a subreport caption. That is, I'd like to be able to click on an image and launch a subreport. Is this possible with CR9?
Yes, I have used the Hyperlink tab when redirecting to other websites or my ColdFusion pages. It works well.
However, I would like to redirect the user to a second Crystal Report. I think the "report object" option is a possibility but I need to pass parameters to the other Crystal Report. Normally I use subreports to do that.
My scenario is as follows:
1. First report is a contact list.
2. Second report shows child records listing that contact's assets.
3. I would like to have a button in the detail section that when clicked will go to the second Crystal Report and list only the assets of the contact.
Thoughts?
P.S. I am inserting the image into the main report via Insert>Picture as you suggest.
I'm also using ReCrystallize Pro to convert my Crystal Reports into ASP pages that are using the Crystal web viewers. I guess one option would be to pass parameters to those ASP pages via a normal hyperlink tab on an image.
