WHY WHY WHY would they call it an IMAGE BUTTON if it doesn't ACT like a button?

Please, someone tell me I'm just a goof who overlooked something.

I want my image buttons to look like they've been clicked when I click them (like the regular buttons do). But...they don't. Well, not be default anyway; and I'm not overly keen on having to write reams and reams of javascript to get the effect I want. Is there some way to make an image BUTTON act like a BUTTON?!

yes. I'm a tad bitter
;)

Thanks,

D'Arcy

I honestly don't think there is a way other than using an image swap in javascript handling the onmousedown and onmouseup events.

So you have an image button with a certain image set to it...then you have another image that you want to show when that button has been pressed?

Not even.

If you have a regular button, when you click it, it gives the appearance that its actually getting pushed (the borders change from outset to inset).

But NOT with the image button. Although you can set the button's border, by default it doesn't have the same sort of behaviour as its regular button relative.
